SugarSMAC Featured Pro Program Terms & Conditions

Participation in the SugarSMAC Featured Pro Program or Affiliate Program constitutes your acknowledgement that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following Terms & Conditions. Continued participation in either program indicates your acceptance of these terms, including any future updates.

1. Program Participation

Participation in the SugarSMAC Featured Pro Program is voluntary and subject to approval by SugarSMAC. Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance into the program.

SugarSMAC reviews all applicants and submitted content at its sole discretion. Selection is based on overall brand alignment, professionalism, content quality, clarity, and fit for the program. Selection is not based solely on follower count or audience size.

SugarSMAC reserves the right to approve, deny, pause, suspend, or remove any participant, listing, submitted content, promotional feature, affiliate access, or participation at any time and at its sole discretion.

Participation in the Featured Pro Program does not create any employment, partnership, agency, contractor, joint venture, or representative relationship between the participant and SugarSMAC.

2. Professional Responsibility

By participating in the program, you confirm that:

• You operate your business in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, licensing requirements, and health/sanitation standards within your region.
• You are solely responsible for your own business operations, client care, consultations, services, education, sanitation practices, pricing, advertising, and professional conduct.
• You maintain responsibility for all outcomes related to services provided by your business.
• You will conduct yourself professionally and respectfully in all public-facing interactions involving SugarSMAC or the Featured Pro Program.

SugarSMAC does not supervise, control, endorse, or assume responsibility for the services, advice, treatments, education, or business practices of Featured Pro participants.

3. Content & Brand Standards

Participants agree that submitted content must:

• Be original or properly licensed
• Accurately represent the participant’s work
• Be filmed or presented in a professional setting
• Maintain a professional and respectful tone
• Align with the SugarSMAC brand and community standards

Participants agree not to submit or promote content that includes:

• Visible competitor products or branding
• False or misleading claims
• Negative comparisons or disparaging commentary toward other brands or professionals
• Offensive, discriminatory, defamatory, unlawful, or inappropriate material

SugarSMAC reserves the right to reject, remove, edit, pause, or discontinue use of any submitted content at its discretion.

4. Marketing & Media Permissions

By submitting photos, videos, testimonials, logos, written content, business information, or other media assets to SugarSMAC, you confirm that:

• You own the submitted content or have obtained all necessary permissions and releases to share it.
• Submitted content does not infringe on the rights of any third party.
• Any clients or individuals appearing in submitted content have provided appropriate consent where required.

You grant SugarSMAC a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, edit, publish, distribute, display, advertise, promote, and repurpose submitted content for marketing, promotional, educational, website, directory, advertising, email marketing, social media, print, and related business purposes.

This may include, but is not limited to:

• Website listings
• Instagram/social media content
• Paid advertising campaigns
• Educational materials
• Email marketing campaigns
• Digital or print advertisements
• Promotional graphics and videos
• Featured Pro directory listings

SugarSMAC is not obligated to use, promote, advertise, repost, or continue using any submitted content.

5. Affiliate Program Terms

The SugarSMAC Featured Pro Program may include affiliate tracking links, tracked discount codes, referral systems, commissions, product credits, or sales attribution systems powered through third-party software including GoAffPro.

By participating in the affiliate portion of the program, participants acknowledge and agree that affiliate tracking, reporting, commission calculations, and referral systems may be managed through third-party affiliate software providers.

Participants understand and agree that:

• Tracked sales may be used to calculate commissions, product credit, or campaign performance.
• Attribution systems are determined solely by SugarSMAC.
• SugarSMAC does not guarantee attribution for all sales or customer activity.
• Affiliate-style tracking may be used for internal campaign and performance purposes.
• Commissions are paid only on verified and successfully tracked qualifying purchases.
• Sales that are cancelled, refunded, charged back, fraudulent, self-referred, or otherwise determined to be ineligible may be excluded from commissions or result in commission adjustments.
• Affiliate tracking relies on third-party technology. SugarSMAC cannot guarantee that every referral or purchase will be tracked, and SugarSMAC’s records will determine final attribution and commission eligibility.
• Product credits, commissions, or rewards may be withheld, adjusted, canceled, or revoked in cases of abuse, misuse, returns, refunds, fraud, or violation of program terms.

Participants agree that the following activities are strictly prohibited:

• Pay-per-click advertising using SugarSMAC brand terms
• Posting affiliate links or discount codes on coupon websites, cashback websites, deal forums, browser extensions, or similar discount-focused platforms
• Misleading advertising, false claims, fake engagement, or fraudulent activity
• Spam marketing tactics or deceptive referral methods
• Using affiliate links or codes in an unauthorized or misleading manner
• Purchasing through your own affiliate link for personal gain unless explicitly approved by SugarSMAC

SugarSMAC reserves the right to investigate affiliate activity and suspend, revoke, withhold, or terminate affiliate access, rewards, commissions, or participation at any time and at its sole discretion.

Affiliate payouts, commissions, credits, rewards, or promotional opportunities are not guaranteed and may vary based on verified sales, campaign performance, returns, refunds, market conditions, audience engagement, or other factors determined solely by SugarSMAC.

Participants remain solely responsible for complying with all applicable advertising, disclosure, affiliate marketing, tax, and consumer protection laws applicable within their jurisdiction.

6. Product Credit & Performance Disclaimer

Certain participants may receive product credit, promotional opportunities, advertising support, collaborations, or educational opportunities through the Featured Pro Program.

SugarSMAC does not guarantee:

• Income
• Sales
• Followers
• Engagement
• Business growth
• Product credit amounts
• Advertising reach
• Student bookings or clients

Results will vary between participants. Any advertising, boosting, or promotional support provided by SugarSMAC remains entirely at SugarSMAC’s discretion.

7. Public Directory Consent

By participating in the Featured Pro Program, you consent to having approved business information displayed publicly by SugarSMAC, including but not limited to:

• Name
• Business name
• Location
• Website
• Social media handles
• Biography/about information
• Photos and promotional content

Participants may request removal from the public directory at any time by contacting SugarSMAC directly.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, participants agree to release, indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SugarSMAC, its owners, employees, contractors, educators, affiliates, partners, successors, and representatives from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, disputes, costs, expenses, or legal actions arising from:

• The participant’s business operations
• Services provided by the participant
• Client interactions or disputes
• Professional advice or education provided by the participant
• Submitted content or marketing materials
• Use or misuse of products
• Participation in the Featured Pro Program or Affiliate Program
• Public listings, promotional features, affiliate activity, or marketing campaigns involving the participant

SugarSMAC is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, reputational, financial, or legal damages arising from participation in the program.

9. Program Changes

SugarSMAC reserves the right to modify, update, pause, discontinue, or change the Featured Pro Program, Affiliate Program, benefits, commission structures, product credit structures, promotional opportunities, or these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.

10. Agreement & Consent

By applying to, accessing, or participating in the SugarSMAC Featured Pro Program or Affiliate Program, you confirm that:

• You have read and understood these Terms & Conditions
• The information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge
• Your continued participation constitutes your acceptance of these Terms & Conditions, including any future updates.
• You consent to the collection and use of submitted information and media as described herein
• You understand that participation and promotional opportunities are not guaranteed
